In our first group of players that participated in the Olympiacos Melbourne annual pro pathway, our Euro Agents identified a staggering amount, reaching 18 players who they viewed to be ready for Euro pro trials.

Following this success, our Euro agents, have commenced the process of finding suitable pro clubs that would trial the 18 identified players.

We were just contacted by our agent who informed us that Cristhian Garcia has been invited to trial by a professional European club.

Cristhian is scheduled to depart Melbourne on 3 January and begin training shortly after arrival.

As the first players of the Olympiacos Melbourne, Annual men’s Euro pro pathway, our football philanthropy was able to overcome the cost of these young men being able to go on a Euro pro trip. Here they are, now able to fly overseas to Senegal where they participate in our first annual pathway.

These Australian players, who came from struggling families, are now given the same opportunity as others to be able to train and showcase their skill for a pro Euro career. They all commenced at our Helping Kids Football Centre, where they found a place of refuge and be able to return to a healthy lifestyle, in a centre that was now affordable by their parents.

On completion of this centre, these players commenced to our Football Improvement Centre, where their families were able to afford the cost of training and improve them for their existing club.

As they continued to train, their skill levels increased and they began to dream of playing professional football overseas.

The Olympiacos Melbourne Annual Pro mens pathway overcame this expense and has now allowed these players to play professional football.

All games will be streamed to Euro agents who will be able to identify players that they deem would be ready for a pro Euro trial. This also includes the local African players who are playing. This annual pro pathway builds a bridge from Australia and Africa to Europe, also giving struggling families a chance to help their kids achieve this pro dream.

We look forward to sharing more news about this pathway upon landing.

Our ID schools junior Euro pathway helped the families overcome the expense of going on a Euro pro trip and are able to train at Olympiacos with their current academy players.

Following their invitation from Olympiacos, the boys commenced training with the current Olympiacos FC academy players.

After being with our football philanthropy for 6 years, we were able to help the families overcome the expense of going on a pro Euro trip and to get assessed by a pro Euro club.

After starting with us at our Helping Kids Football Centre, a place of refuge for them while their families were priced out of club sports. This centre allowed them to return to a healthy environment in a centre that was still affordable.

As they completed this centre, they proceeded to the Football Improvement Centre, a place where the parents could afford to give their children the extra training required.

As they continued to learn football skills, their desires to achieve professional football increased. Like many parents, a pro pathway for their children is unaffordable and unattainable. Our Olympiacos Melbourne ID Schools – junior pro pathway is our football philanthropy that was able to solve this, by making it affordable for struggling families to also be able to give their kids an opportunity at a pro Euro career.

Our Helping Kids Football Centres helped the families of these 3 players to be able to afford to get these players off the streets and back to a healthy lifestyle.

After being with our football philanthropies for 6 years, we are now here at Melbourne airport where we are wishing the 3 boys the best of luck as they head to Athens.

These 3 players commenced at our Helping Kids Football Centre, that was a place of refuge for them while their families were priced out of club sports. This centre allowed them to return to a healthy environment in a centre that was still affordable.

As they completed this centre, they proceeded to the Football Improvement Centre, a place where the parents could afford to give their children the extra training required.

After sharing their profile with Olympiacos in Greece, these 3 players were invited for a 1 week assessment at Olympiacos where they will train at Rentis Training Centre with their existing academy players.

We are delighted that struggling families also have the chance to attain this dream.

It is a pleasure to have interest from another school in Melbourne.  This school (which has been redacted for their privacy) received our information about the initiative. They were presented with the information and are now in discussion with their school board. They love the offering to the kids, including how we support the school in the implementation as well as the results that we are set to achieve with assisting the confidence of kids.

We hope to finalise the agreement and make a public statement about this joint venture on return from school holidays.

Shortly after the launch of the initiative, we obtained interest from a school in the northern region of Melbourne.  This school (which has been redacted for their privacy) shares the same view point as our initiative. They were impressed by our presentation and are in the process of discussing with their school council.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE         30/03/2022

As an advocate for kids health and fitness, Olympiacos Melbourne have taken the steps to further assist kids in Melbourne by launching the Helping Kids Initiative.

“Following the events of the previous 2 years, we found a number of kids that wee being priced out of health and fitness services.” said Frank Mihalopoulos. “We saw the need to create this initiative to help them the kids return to a healthy lifestyle and bring the kids back to their bright and bubbly selves”.

The Helping Kids Initiative endeavours to be a safe learning environment for all kids aged 5 to 18+ years of age. This initiative helps all kids, irrespective of their current sporting abilities.

“Kids now have the opportunity to train up to 4 days a week for only $29 per week. This allows parents to select any number of days they wish whilst knowing that inability to attend all sessions still ensures they get value for money.” Frank noted.

“We welcome all kids regardless of their fitness levels and sporting abilities”, said Steve Papadopoulos. “Over the past 6 months, we designed and prepared this initiative to be able to get the best possible price and return affordability back to the parents. Many parents have now been priced out of the health and fitness market. Our solution here is to be able to give them the ability again, but offering prices that couldn’t even be delivered over 10 years ago”. Steve further stated “In addition to this, we’ve made it even more affordable by the creation of group bookings. By parents getting their children and their friends children together, we will further discount the weekly fee by $10 each student. The prices are now unprecedented”

After having a track record of improving kids for 16 years, Olympiacos Melbourne became recognised by Olympiacos FC not only for their ability to achieve results, but for their ability to accept everyone and work with them. Olympiacos Melbourne is all inclusive and didn’t trial players. The launch of their Helping Kids Initiative ensured that the methodology is made more accessible to everyone.
